About Dawati: digital invitations from a studio in Amman
Dawati (دعوتي) makes digital invitations for weddings and related events. It is a product of Black & White, a studio in Amman, Jordan, that has photographed and filmed weddings for over thirty years.
What is Dawati?
Dawati (دعوتي) is a digital invitation service made by Black & White Studio in Amman, Jordan. It turns a wedding, engagement, katb al-kitab, henna or birthday invitation into one animated link that opens on any phone, in Arabic or English, with a map, music, an RSVP link for each guest and an entry QR for the door.
What Dawati does
Dawati makes animated digital invitations that open from one link, in Arabic or English, with 10 designs, music, a map, a countdown and an add-to-calendar button. It also offers RSVP with a personal link for each guest or family and an entry QR for the door, and a QR memories book where guests leave wishes, photos and voice notes.
A digital invitation costs 20 JOD. The QR memories book costs 20 JOD, and the invitation with the memories book together costs 25 JOD. RSVP is set up with the studio. Preview and design are free.
What Dawati does not do
It is not a multi-page website builder, does not offer custom domains or a gift registry, does not export video files, and does not send messages to your guests for you. Payment today is by CliQ in Jordanian dinars.
We say this plainly so you can decide quickly whether it fits your wedding.
Who is behind it
Black & White is a photography and film studio in Amman, Jordan. It covers weddings across Jordan and has a full female team for women-only weddings. The studio built Dawati because couples kept asking for invitations that feel as good as the weddings it records.
Dawati is written and supported in Arabic and English. For questions about an order, the fastest way is a WhatsApp message.
Your guests' privacy
The content of an invitation lives in its link, and anyone with the link can open it, so share it only with the people you invite. RSVP replies and memories-book items are visible to the couple and not public. We do not sell details. You can ask us to delete your order details and uploaded photo.
Our guides explain how to run invitations, replies and the door in a way that respects guests' privacy.
