Digital wedding invitations made in Amman, for Jordan
Dawati is made by a wedding studio in Amman, so it speaks in the wording Jordanian families use and is paid for the way Jordanians pay: CliQ, in dinars. This is the one country where the price is exact and nothing needs converting.
The Jordanian wedding, event by event
Jordanian weddings often include a request for the bride's hand with the families, a katb kitab, a henna night and the wedding itself. Dawati has wording for the wedding, katb kitab, engagement and henna, so each card sounds right.
Make one invitation per event with its own date and place. Guests who are invited only to the katb kitab never see the details of the wedding hall.
Dinars, CliQ and WhatsApp
A digital invitation costs 20 JOD. You pay by CliQ from your banking app, we see the transfer and send your clean link on WhatsApp. No card number is typed on our site.
Most invitations in Jordan are sent as a WhatsApp message to each person and a family group. The link carries a preview with your names and the date.
Dates and times the Jordanian way
Jordanian invitations usually carry the Gregorian date with the day of the week, and add the Hijri date when the family wants it. Jordan has kept the same time all year since 2022, UTC+3, so there is no summer-time confusion for guests who travel.
Weddings are held in halls, hotels, gardens and farms. Give the exact map pin and a line such as 'entrance from the back road' that a driver actually needs.
A studio you can speak to
Dawati is made by Black & White, the Amman studio that has photographed and filmed weddings for over thirty years. If something is unclear, you can message us on WhatsApp and a person answers.
The studio also has a full female team for women-only weddings, which matters if you plan your photography and your invitations together.
Picking a design that sounds Jordanian
Jordanian families often like a warm, uncluttered card. Try Old Money or Parisian Minimal from the free Essential collection for an international look, or Arabian Heritage and Modern Khaleeji if the families prefer an Arabic-calligraphy card. For a henna night, the Royal GCC designs are tagged for henna as well.
Whichever you pick, open it full screen on your phone first. Guests in Jordan nearly always open the link on a phone, and many open it straight from a chat.
Sending to a large family without confusion
Jordanian lists tend to be large and layered: immediate family, extended family, neighbours and colleagues. Send the same link to everyone and use the RSVP link only for households whose headcount you need to know for the hall.
Keep the katb kitab invitation for the people actually in the room, and the wedding invitation for the wider list. That avoids a tricky phone call to a relative who was not meant to be in the first group.
From order to link, step by step
You design and preview free, then pay by CliQ in dinars. When the transfer shows, we send your clean link on WhatsApp. If you need a change in the wording afterwards, message us and a person makes it.
Because the studio is in Amman, you can also drop in to talk through a design. We do not promise an hour of delivery or a number of changes beyond what the pricing page says.
Questions and answers
Is the wording in Jordanian Arabic?
The site speaks in a warm Jordanian register, and the invitation wording is yours to write. Occasion presets give you a starting line you can change.
How do I pay in Jordan?
By CliQ in Jordanian dinars. When we see the transfer, we send your clean link on WhatsApp.
Can I order for a wedding outside Amman?
Yes. A digital invitation does not depend on the city. Put the venue and its map pin in the card.
Can I add a katb kitab and a henna invitation as well?
Yes. Each event is its own invitation with its own link, and each costs 20 JOD.
Do you also photograph the wedding?
Black & White, the studio behind Dawati, does. Dawati itself is the invitation product; ask us on WhatsApp if you would like to talk about photography.
