Digital wedding invitations for weddings in Bahrain
Bahrain is small, close-knit and well connected: relatives live a short drive apart, and news of a wedding moves through WhatsApp within minutes. A Dawati invitation is built for that speed, with one clear link for each gathering of the season.
A season of small gatherings
Many Bahraini families mark a wedding with several gatherings rather than one: an engagement, a henna night, the wedding itself and sometimes a return visit afterwards. Give each its own invitation, so a guest who is asked to the henna night is not confused by the wedding date.
The invitations share your names and style, which makes the series feel like one story, but each carries its own time and place.
A good way to keep the season tidy is to give every invitation a line that says what it is: engagement, henna night or wedding. Guests in Bahrain are often asked to several of them, and a clear label in the first line saves them from mixing up dates.
Short distances, careful details
Because most guests live nearby, the details that matter are practical ones: which entrance, where to park, when the doors open. Put the hall, the entrance and the arrival time in the wording, and the map button will open each guest's navigation app at the right place.
Bahrain uses UTC+3 all year. If guests come across the causeway from Saudi Arabia, the clock is the same, so a single time is enough.
In a small country a venue's name is often enough, but a pin on the map is still worth adding. Guests from other families, or relatives returning from abroad, may not know the new hall, and the pin removes any need to phone and ask.
Counting guests with RSVP
A family list in a small country grows quickly: cousins, neighbours, colleagues and friends of friends. RSVP gives each household its own link, shows you who has confirmed and how many are coming, and lets you set a reply date. Send a gentle reminder to the households who have not answered yet.
Our guide explains how to choose the reply date and how to word the reminder, so it reads as courtesy and not pressure.
Aim to ask for replies a week or two before the event. That is long enough for guests to plan and short enough for you to give the hall and the caterer a number. RSVP shows the answers as they arrive, so you can watch the count settle.
Arabic, English, and both
Bahrain's guests read Arabic, English or both, and many families prefer to send a card in each. Order an Arabic link and an English link and send each person the one they read. Browse all 10 designs, from gold and midnight blue to softer floral cards, and open each in full screen first.
Hijri and Gregorian dates are typed as text in your own wording, so you decide how the date appears.
If you are mixing Bahraini traditions with a modern look, the gallery lets you filter by cultural style and by colour. Choose what your family will recognise, and keep the Arabic wording close to the way your relatives speak when they invite someone in person.
Price and payment
A digital invitation costs 20 JOD, which is about BHD 10.600 at today's indicative rate. The dinar price is only a guide: payment today is by CliQ in Jordanian dinars. If that is difficult from Bahrain, message us before you start.
The studio is in Amman, Jordan, and there is no office in Bahrain.
There is no fee per guest, so adding a second language or a second event does not change the price of the first. Each invitation is priced on its own, and the price is the same whether it goes to ten households or to two hundred.
Questions and answers
Can I make one invitation for the henna night and another for the wedding?
Yes. Each invitation has its own date, time, place and wording, and you send each to the guests of that gathering.
Do you accept Bahraini dinars?
Payment today is by CliQ in Jordanian dinars. The Bahraini dinar price here is indicative only.
Do +973 numbers work for RSVP?
Yes. Numbers are saved in international format, so any country code works.
How do I remind guests who have not replied?
RSVP shows who has answered. You then send a short message on WhatsApp to the households that are still open.
Can I keep the henna night private?
Send that link only to the guests of the henna night. Anyone who receives a link can open it, so share it with care.
