A wedding website in one link: what you get, and what you do not
Many couples search for a wedding website builder when what they need is one place that tells guests when, where and whether to reply. Dawati makes exactly that, as a single beautiful page. It is not a multi-page site builder, and we would rather say so now.
What the page holds
Your names, the date and time, the venue with a map button, the plan of the evening, a photo, your message and music. A countdown shows how long is left, and a button adds the date to the guest's calendar.
For weddings with more than one event, such as a henna night and the wedding, make one invitation for each. Every event gets its own link, so each group of guests sees only its own event.
Built right-to-left first
Arabic is not a translation bolted on. The layouts are drawn for right-to-left text, with proper Arabic type, and the English version is a full design of its own. Choose the language per invitation.
If your families read different languages, order one link in each and send each side the one they read.
Replies, the guest list and photos
Add RSVP and each guest gets a personal link to say yes or no, give the number coming and leave a note. You see the list in one place, and an entry QR card for the door.
After the night, a QR memories book collects wishes, photos and voice notes from guests, kept as an album for the couple.
What it is not
There is no custom domain, no multi-page navigation, no gift registry and no blog. If you need a full site with several pages, a general website builder is the right tool, and you can link to your Dawati invitation from it.
If you need one clear page that guests will actually open on WhatsApp, a single link is usually better than a site they have to explore.
Questions and answers
Can I get my own web address for the invitation?
Not today. Each invitation has a short Dawati link. A custom domain is not part of the product, so we do not promise it.
Can I put a schedule of the day on it?
Yes. The invitation has a section for the plan of the evening, and a map for the venue.
Is there a place for a gift registry?
No. Dawati does not include a registry. You can write a line in your message about how you prefer to receive gifts.
How is this different from a free website builder?
It is built for one job: an invitation guests open from a chat. It is already in Arabic and English, right-to-left, and ready to share, with a price of 20 JOD and no ads.
Can guests see photos from the wedding?
The QR memories book keeps the guests' photos and wishes for the couple as a private album. It is not a public gallery.
